This itinerary takes place on the outskirts of the Valgrande National Park. From outside the Vigezzina di Trontano train station take Tignolino Street. At the chapel at the crossroads carry on to the right (ignoring the directions towards the Parpinasca Mountain Hut) up to the hairpin bend where Viscardi Street must be taken up to the crossroads with Cocco Street. Then go up about 200 m and take the first road on the right which starts going up in hairpin bends towards Parpinasca. The road, which is part paved and part unpaved, goes up to the Faievo Alp and thus via a long hillside path across a beautiful wood of beech trees, then passes the Rio Graglia Valley, and finally reaches the Parpinasca Mountain Hut which is Property of the Valgrande National Park (www.parcovalgrande.it).
