From the mountain hut we quickly go back up along paths and steps fixed into the rock up to the Del Moro Mountain Pass, where a characteristic small golden Madonna can be found. From here onwards we begin the long descent towards Swiss grounds. During the first tract we cross steep stone-covered grounds with some very high steps up until we reach the Tälliboden Plain. From here the path becomes much less steep and much more comfortable and quickly we come up to the artificial lake of Mattmark, which we coast on the left hand side up to the dam. We cross the dam and continue going down passing from Eienalp and Bord up until we reach Saas Almagell.
