Excursion on beautiful paved mule tracks to discover ancient rural hamlets with admirable examples of stone architecture.
Starting from the hamlet of Pontetto of Montecrestese, follow the signs for the A04 path, go uphill along beautiful mule tracks to Roldo, then turn onto the L00 path for Vignamaggiore which continues along the Isorno valley. Pass the huts of Parè and the chapel of the Crosetta until you will cross the paved road and continue to Naviledo, with admirable examples of stone architecture. Cross the whole hamlet and going up the hillside you will reach the Cappella dei Basini and immediately after the beautiful paved mule track cross the hairpin bend and shortly you will reach Altoggio.
