From Buon Pastore refuge cross again the Sesia stream and take, on the left bank, the mule track which descends shortly to the "Zam wisse boch" (White Water Falls, 1495 m) and, after a few hairpin bends, to the square below called the Acqua Bianca. From here it is necessary to follow the road that leads to Alagna, passing through the square of Wold, (1278m) where you can park your car. In the next section the road is open to traffic. Shortly before Alagna at Pedemonte, the stage is connected to the route of stage 25 that descends from Colle Mud. Then, you have to pass through the center of Alagna and follow the provincial road for 2.8 km to Riva Valdobbia. From here, take the Val di Vogna road that climbs with hairpin bends and first arrives to the church of the Madonna delle Pose (where the valleys stayed with their loads on their shoulders), then to the hamlet of Ca' di Janzo and finally reaches S. Antonio (1380 m) with the Valle Vogna refuge which faces the church.
