From Carcoforo, after crossing the bridge over the Egua, take the valley road beyond the village of Selva Bruna to Alpe Le Coste, where you leave path 117 on the right which climbs towards Passo della Miniera. Cross Brook Giovanchera and Brook Fornetto and, after crossing the crossroads with route 113 that leads to Colle della Bottiggia, reach the Alpe Selva Bruna (1464 m), with two restored huts. Keeping on the left side of the Brook Trasinera climb the steep slope with high grasses and ferns, rare larch trees and green alder and rowan shrubs. Then the path reach the grassy plateau of Alpe Trasinera Bella (1925 m). Once past the alp, continue toward South and reach Alpe del Termo (2081 m) located under the overhanging north face of Cima Lampone. Upstream of the alp, the path go into a narrow depression on which Cima del Tiglio looms. Finally passed the steep grassy slope, reach Colle del Termo at 2351 meters. The descent on the Rima side (route 293) begins with a very steep grassy slope that the path descends with numerous narrow hairpin bends down to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Here a short stretch on mountainside leads to the attack of another steeply descending stretch within an autochthonous coniferous forest predominantly of mountain pine with an anti-avalanche defense function. Then reach Alpe Chiaffera or Ciaffera (1706 m) and after another stretch with hairpin bends within a mixed forest reach the inhabited center of Rima at 1411 meters.
